Bisquick Apple Dumplings


1/2 stick butter, melted
2 c. Bisquick

SAUCE:

2 tbsp. butter
4 c. sugar
6 c. water
2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix 1/2 stick butter and Bisquick thoroughly; add water until dough holds together and is not sticky like pie crust consistency. Take small balls of dough roll out, place apple slices and sugar on dough and roll up. Place in roaster.
Sauce: Bring to sauce ingredients to a boil and boil 5 minutes. Pour over dumplings and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Be sure to cover dumplings with foil. After 1 hour if not brown on top uncover and brown.
